It finally feels like spring is here as green slowly erupts from the soil. My rhubarb, strawberries, chives and a few of my garlic plants are finally starting to show their self.

But with it, it also feels like we are entering a new season of life as well. One full of tests, challenges, and character building but also abounding in hope and blessings.

There’s both opportunities and strains on finances. There’s listening to my body more, yielding to rest when needed, and trusting God that I will get what I need to done. There’s schedules that need to be shifted and adjusted to accommodate the new, the different, the rest and the challenges. There’s learning to let go and share my space in a different way but with the blessing of teaching others and receiving a helping hand. There’s adventure in new beginnings and awe at how God is working. How He’s speaking.

Even in my anxiousness to check every couple days for new growth in the yard, maybe in the same way, this new season is learning to trust what’s growing even when it’s not fully visible yet.

God is making a way. I know that. How and where to? To be determined.

What plants are finally showing their green in your yard?

Is it a new season of life for you too?

I love this! It’s so wonderful to see new growth. And also, the shifts and changes with challenges. I’m in a new season. Through it all, God continues to prune away dead things to help me grow. I’m praying for you. Thank you for sharing this!
